Submitted by Stacy on 9/24/2010
Saturday, April 21, 2012 - 10:00am - 11:40am

This program will provide kids in 1st to 4th grade the opportunity to read aloud to dogs who are great listeners. This program is a one-on-one experience between child and canine (with handler), parents will be asked to wait outside the room. All the dogs are certified therapy dogs and are carefully screened to provide a safe, fun experience. To participate, children will need to register for a specific 15-minute time slot to read to the dogs. All materials are provided by the library. Space is limited, please register in the children's department. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
