When Mallory, a sophomore in high school, discovers her boyfriend, Jeremy, is cheating on her in an online game, she dumps him and swears off technology.  She finds a list of goals her grandmother had made for her sophomore year, and decides to complete the list: run for pep-squad secretary; host a fancy dinner party/soiree; sew a dress for homecoming; find a steady; and do something dangerous.  Mallory dives into vintage living, trying to ignore her ex(?)boyfriend, his charming cousin, and her cell phone.  Can Mallory find peace in an early 1960’s way of living?  Mallory’s has a great sense of humor, but struggles with her dedication to the list and her convictions to breakup with Jeremy, despite is online ‘wife.’  This book is a really fun read, and Mallory has a really great relationship with her younger sister Ginnie, sweet and realistic.
